2/6/2009 Off of Oxygen! Nathan isn't having to sleep on oxygen anymore.. yay! We drove to Oklahoma City on Tuesday for his regular eye exam (every6-10 weeks)... Nathan's astigmatism has gotten a little worse in both eyes.. so we got a new script for lenses.... Somehow he *thinks* his left eye made a slight improvement unless it was an off day.. we won't really know til next time.. He tested at 20/50 in his left eye instead of 20/60 like he always does... (this is WITH glasses on of course, without glasses he sees 20/200 or less) So we ordered a new pair of glasses, we are going with the transition lenses again so i don't have to buy a set of prescription sunglasses! here are some pics from the day     1/28/2009 Pneumonia Update
So he still sounds cruddy... we will go back to the clinic on Friday for another check up. We also had an oxygen concentrator delivered today... Nathan's O2 SATS were dipping down between 78-88 when he slept the last 2 nights.. so he is having to sleep on oxygen now so we can keep him around 93 or above when sleeping. He isn't too happy having to adjust to the nasal cannula again but he will adapt pretty quickly with any luck. Thankfully tegaderm can keep it on his face whil ehe sleeps! the concentrator

He's been coughing since last Wed and out of school since then too... before that we all had a cruddy stomach flu and it wasn't pretty.... so pretty much been a month of someone being sick around here! 1/7/2009 New Year!

the KNEX Ferris Wheel that took Randy an hour and a half to assemble 12/23/2008 Merry Christmas! It's almost time! Nathan is looking around the tree tonight trying to decide which present he can open on Christmas Eve, lol. My jaw/tooth area is still sore but not throbbing anymore so that is a gift in itself! Don't remember if I have posted pictures of his tree yet... of course more presents have been added since these were taken! lol     |
